Diploma in electrical Engineering is a technical degree offering the very basic fundamental knowledge of the computer systems management and network engineering. The candidate seeking admission to the Diploma in any stream must have pass in 10th class or its equivalent in aggregate as well as in individual subject of mathematics, science from any recognized board /council.
The Candidate who has successfully completed 10+2 in aggregate with physics, mathematics, chemistry or 12th technical or 2 years ITI from NCVT Board/Council.
The program duration for diploma in Electrical Engineering will be 3 years comprising of 6 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within 6 years from the session of enrolment. Accordingly program duration for lateral entry students will be 2 years comprising of 4 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within 4 years from the session of enrolment.
