Computer is an integral part of modern lifestyle and there is no official job that can be executed without computer. But for manufacturing and maintenance of these large number of computer systems we need expert technicians who have proper practical knowledge about the topic. So there comes the need of diploma holders in computer engineering. They are the main force who helps in the maintenance and production of the computer technology of the nation.

Admission Qualification

The candidate seeking admission to the Diploma in any stream must have pass in 10th class or its equivalent in aggregate as well as in individual subject of mathematics, science from any recognized board /council.

Lateral Entry to 2nd year (IIIrd semester)

The Candidate who has successfully completed 10+2 in aggregate with physics, mathematics, chemistry or 12th technical or 2 years ITI from NCVT Board/Council.

Program Duration

The program duration for diploma in Computer Engineering will be 3 years comprising of 6 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within 6 years from the session of enrolment. Accordingly program duration for lateral entry students will be 2 years comprising of 4 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within 4 years from the session of enrolment.
