B.TECH IN TEXTILE ENGINEERING
The textile Engineering curriculum is up dated with emerging Technologies in all the fields of textile industries .their syllabi of B.TECH Textile focus on spinning, weaving, knitting, chemical processing, manmade fiber processing, textile testing and Quality control. It is aimed to provide a system approach in textile technology to fulfill the need for high caliber technical manpower in the fast growing textile sector there by increasing the overall efficiency in the industry and total output. In order to make the trainees well equipped, management guidelines will be provide and emphasis will be3 given on communication lab.
Admission Qualification
The Candidate who has successfully completed10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or its equivalent with pass class Examination of any recognized Board/Council.
Lateral Entry to 2nd year (IIIrd Semester)
The Candidate who has successfully completed3 years polytechnic diploma from state technical board or its equivalent after 10th standard or 3 year B. Sc in any stream with mathematics as major subject is eligible to take admission in 2nd year (IIIrd semester)of B.Tech in respective branches.
Program Duration
The program duration for B.Tech in textile engineering will be 4 years comprising of 8 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within 8 years from the session of enrollment .Accordingly program duration for Lateral Entry students will be3 years comprising of 6 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the programme within 6 years from the session of enrolment.
