B.TECH IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING

Today computers have not only assumed strategic importance in the corporate world, they are also being effectively used in almost every field of human Endeavour, ranging from space exploration to food processing and banking to communication etc. The 6 main sectors that will be emphasized are Hardware and Networking which will include the physical elements of the computer systems, software engineering and development that is going to include the set of instruction by which a computer is programmed for working and performance of specified tasks. It will also involve services and application support that will involve systems integration and applications management as well as networking and data base management.

Admission Qualification

The Candidate who has successfully completed10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or its equivalent with pass class Examination of any recognized Board/Council.

Lateral Entry to 2nd year (IIIrd Semester)

The Candidate who has successfully completed3 years polytechnic diploma from state technical board or its equivalent after 10th standard or 3 year B. Sc in any stream with mathematics as major subject is eligible to take admission in 2nd year (IIIrd semester)of B.Tech in respective branches.

Program Duration

The program duration for B.Tech in textile engineering will be 4 years comprising of 8 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within 8 years from the session of enrollment .Accordingly program duration for Lateral Entry students will be3 years comprising of 6 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the programme within 6 years from the session of enrolment.
