B.TECH IN ELECTRONICS & TELE COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

The objective of the course to equip graduate with an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering to electronics and communication engineering problems. The purpose will also be to enhance an ability to design and conduct experiments and to analyze and interpret gathered data with an ability to function in and/or develop leadership in multy-disciplinary teams as well as an ability to identify, formulate and solve electronics and communications engineering problems in order to understanding of ethical and professional responsibility giving emphasis on an ability for effective communication as well as an ability to understand and correctly interpret the impact of engineering solutions in a social/global context so as to engage in life-long learning to follow developments in electronics and communications engineering leading to an ability to skillfully use modern engineering tools and techniques necessary for engineering design, analysis and applications of the same.

Admission Qualification

The Candidate who has successfully completed10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or its equivalent with pass class Examination of any recognized Board/Council.

Lateral Entry to 2nd year (IIIrd Semester)

The Candidate who has successfully completed3 years polytechnic diploma from state technical board or its equivalent after 10th standard or 3 year B. Sc in any stream with mathematics as major subject is eligible to take admission in 2nd year (IIIrd semester)of B.Tech in respective branches.

Program Duration

The program duration for B.Tech in textile engineering will be 4 years comprising of 8 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within 8 years from the session of enrollment .Accordingly program duration for Lateral Entry students will be3 years comprising of 6 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the programme within 6 years from the session of enrolment.
