B.TECH IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

The objective of this course will be to produce component engineers and professionals to meet the needs of industries in the context of global scenario as well as to develop component electrical engineers of high quality both in software and hardware who are capable facing various challenges posed by other developed countries and also be to orient the students to involve themselves in various research and developmental activities as well as to provide opportunities to simulate the real world in a lab environment using latest software tools.

Admission Qualification

The candidate who has successfully completed 10+2 with physics , mathematics ,chemistry or its equivalent with pass class examination of any recognized board/council.

Lateral Entry to 2nd year (III rd Semester)

The candidate who has successfully completed three years of polytechnic diploma from state technical board or its equivalent after 10th standard or 3 year B. Sc in any stream with Mathematics as major subject is eligible to take admission in 2nd year (III rd Semester) of B. Tech in respective branches.

Program Duration

The program duration for B. Tech electrical will be four years composing of8 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within 8years from the session of enrolment. Accordingly program duration for Lateral entry students will be 3 years comprising of 6 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within 6 years from the session of enrolment.
