DIPLOMA IN AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING

The program provides a wide spectrum of both theoretical and practical knowledge about on modern Automotives. In addition to this, it also imparts knowledge of mathematics, science, basic computers, engineering drawing, auto CAD and much more in the field of Mechanical Engineering supported with practical work. It provides a Sound grounding for further higher studies or worldwide employment opportunities in Automobile Industries, Where the skill and knowledge of planning, designing, manufacturing and maintenance are concerned. It also provides a good grounding for students who wish to continue further studies or employment where the skills, knowledge and understanding of planning, designing, construction & Manufacturing are useful. The program will develop the students understanding for a full range of careers within the manufacturing and maintenance industry as members of a flexible, competitive, multi-skilled workforce.

Admission Qualification

The candidate seeking admission to the Diploma in any stream must have pass in 10th class or its equivalent in aggregate as well as in individual subject of mathematics, science from any recognized board /council.

Lateral Entry to 2nd year (IIIrd semester)

The Candidate who has successfully completed 10+2 in aggregate with physics, mathematics, chemistry or 12th technical ort 2 years ITI from NCVT Board/Council.

Program Duration

The program duration for diploma in Automobile Engineering will be 3 years comprising of 6 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within 6 years from the session of enrolment. Accordingly program duration for lateral entry students will be 2 years comprising of 4 semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within 4 years from the session of enrolment.
